Evening at Cottonwood Pass

Cottonwood Pass is in the Sawach Range west of Buena Vista, Colorado. A feel good memory from a vacation Jennifer and I shared with our son and daughter in law, pictured here as specks down by the little lake. They stayed late to photograph the stars after dark.
This plein air piece was reworked in the studio.
