My visits to Colorado recently have pulled my interst from mountain peaks (somewhat) and toward the trails . I love the coolness, moisture, shade, smell of evergreens, and even the almost musical thump of boots on hard packed soil. I am thinking I might try acrylic on my next trail painting, glazing up the shadows more. Anyway, I hope viewers can climb into my heart via this painting, look out through my eyes, and share my experience of this amazing world.
