This painting is based on a painting and photography trip at Meramec Spring Park in the Missouri Ozarks. I loved the light, water, colorful fall leaves, and figure poses there. The fishermen were totally into what they were doing, and it really showed up in their gestures. And the moving ("living") water awakens fresh appreciation in my heart for the presence of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of His people, a foretaste of Paradise to come!
