The large leaves in this grove of paw paw trees filtered the light of an overcast day, creating an avenue of welcoming warmth along this section of a lonely trail. This was painted on Bethany Falls Trail in Burr Oak Woods, before the trail ascends the stairs to the limestone outcroppings.
