I came across this scene at sunrise, along the Little Blue River, just north of Pink Hill Road. I hope the painting communicates something of the wonder I felt being there. It seems so far removed from the nearby urban environment of freeways and shopping centers. Canada geese fitted for comfort in freezing water and light filtering through the cold darkness adorn the resume' of the One who created and preserves them.
