Sometimes you're blessed to find a ready made composition. This planter, with its intensely colored flowers and reflected light was dramatically illuminated against a dark, shadowy group of trees. The porch rail, orange flowers, and background tree trunk, all lead the viewer's eye to the focal point. This 145 year old home, listed on the National Historic Registry, has been restored into a guest house, located in Independence, Missouri.
