Recent rains had caused the Arkansas River to take on a reddish hue. These warm colors along with the morning sunlight complemented the cool blues and greens of this Colorado landscape. It is such a privilege to stand outside for two or three hours to drink up the glory of God's creation and celebrate it in paint!
